Narnack Records and Greatminds Records have announced the release of Beat LA, a collection of songs from classic SoCal artists performed by contemporary artists from the Los Angeles underground. IW covers a rare Doors song called "Go Insane," culled from demos of songs that Bozo Dionysus claimed he wrote with an Indian elder (feather not dot) during an ayahuasca ceremony in '64. The original demo was sourced from an Edison cylinder found at Père Lachaise.
Proceeds from Beat LA will benefit Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), and their life-saving endeavors helping those adversely affected by the devastating earthquake in Haiti.
